Area Sales Supervisor (Saudi)

Job Description (English)
The Area Supervisor’s main responsibility is to achieve the yearly business target for all Brands and Stores within the area of responsibility; to achieve his/her yearly Key Performance Indicators as a minimum. In addition, he/she will be responsible to achieve Sell through Rate for each store, as well as improving the Average Transaction Value (ATV), Items Per Customer (IPC) and Sales Per Square Meter (SSM).
The Area Supervisor must ensure effective operational Brand and Visual standards, as well as compliance monitoring to company’s practice of asset protection are met. He/she will be responsible for the continual development of staff knowledge and their skill set and actively contributes to the development of business initiatives and promotions.
The Area Supervisor will deliver timely reporting of all matters relating to the business, and gathering daily marketing intelligence to position operations competitively.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
- Leading the store operations to maximize sales in all stores through coaching and performance management of store supervisors and staff.
- Managing staff scheduling and allocating staff services and constantly reviewing sales improvement practice, plans and initiatives
- Store layout planning, effective and timely promotion execution, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ensuring that Sell Through-Rate (STR) is achieved for all new products
- Improving Average Transaction Value (ATV) and Items per Customers (IPC)
- Saudization targets to be achieved in AOR as per KPI’s set out.
- Weekly managers meetings to discuss performance and actions for next week to drive sales.
- Contributing to all aspects of business development including new store openings and recommendations for closure or redesign/updating
- Gathering marketplace feedback and on the ground competitor analysis for product, price, location, offer, activity and promotions. Providing feedback to Head Office via weekly operations report
- Fully utilizing Company reporting systems to monitor brand performance and implements corrective actions when necessary
- Ensuring adherence to all Company policies, procedures and processes
- Maximizing the potential of Store Management and Employees through performance management, coaching, and identifying staff development opportunities, and employees’ retention.
- Recommend stock level adjustments to merchandise teams.
- Assisting across all activities in reducing stock loss by observing all company procedures.
- Identify stock density and opportunity status and report to merchandise team.
- Responsible for people development into succession planning, PDP’s and PIP’s.
- Ensure all stores and stock rooms are following health & safety standards and are hygiene as per SOP’s and government recommendations.
- Visit all stores under AOR regularly and prepare SVRs, summarize visit reports and share them with line manager by the 25th of each month. SVR reports to be shared with stores along with the action plan, weaknesses, and strength.
- Cross check and ensure that all refunds & exchanges are done properly as per the approved SOP’s during the store visits
- Review and ensure that all stock transfers (in/out) are done properly as per the approved SOP’s and closed by the end of each month during the store visits.
- Ensure all store staff adhere to company policies and dress up properly with the brand uniform and company ID while on duty.
 
Required Education/Skills:
 
- Ability to coach and train sales staff
- Completion of High school or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of multi-store or large store management in fashion retail
- Ability to maintain team harmony to achieve objectives
- High communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively between multiple people
- Problem solving Skills and ability to make timely decisions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to manage people effectively
- Planning and Attention to details
- Ability to work and delivery under pressure
- Adaptability and flexibly to handle many changes in a workday
- Bilingual (Arabic / English)
- Well versed in Microsoft office applications (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint…).
