Regional Retail Trainer (Riyadh) (Saudi Female Only)

Job Description (English)

The Training officer's main responsibility is to help create and maintain a High Performance Culture at Al Abdul Karim, by being involved in the implementation of the transformation process and aligning workforce, systems, and procedures to the new structure. As a Trainer you must support the overall vision of being an Employer of Choice, whilst ensuring the structure remains aligned and robust.

Helping the Training Manager and Sales Region Manager in developing the Region’s team Performance, efficiency of operation and business momentum ensuring the workforce has the skills and tools needed to achieve business goals, especially Saudization initiatives.

•     Providing support to Region staff to ensure that roles & responsibilities, procedures, and activities are performed according to the new structure KPI’s.  

•     Consistently identifying areas where employees need development and recommending solutions; help to identify Training Needs Analysis

•     Consistently identifying areas where employees are dissatisfied and developing solutions, whilst enhancing the areas of contentment 

•     Delivering programs focused on achieving alignment between business growth needs and workforce development readiness

•     Managing and monitoring the alignment of performance management with organizational goals.

•     Align and solidify the understanding of the Employee Value Proposition program into organization development activities across the region

•     Deliver team building programs 

•     Conduct induction programs for new joiners and help to improve the induction programs for new joiners 

•     Manage and monitor the Quarterly Appraisal process, timeframes and results, presenting timely report

•     Ensure Appraisal are conducted accurately and fairly; approving each Appraisal completed

•     Regular store visits to understand the needs of the teams and individual capabilities

•     Support the recommendations of who should be promoted

•     Helping in developing L&D framework based on TNA, performance & appraisal results, as well as the business objectives of the company

•     Support operational needs in the Region related to Training activities, including shift management

•     Lead the mystery shopper project in the Region

•     Support succession and manpower planning for the store operations; including staff relocations

•      Work closely with Manpower team to implement Saudization strategies in the Region 

•     Conduct the training for sales staff in Region and manage the coordination of training requirements outside of your scope. 

•     Manage the weekly Training Activities  

•     Assess organizational needs to determine the overall direction of associate engagement, leadership, communication, and performance initiatives 

•     Mentoring store supervisor for new joiners on retail professional program in the stores 

•     Identified the best performance people based on the appraisal result and Training observation

•     Arrange with operation for the new store opening for Training support needs and requirement 

•     Attend the weekly operation meeting  

•     Delivering training programs 

•     Monitoring performance (including delivery of training given)
