Job Description (English)

Develop Brand VM guidelines and ensures all visual standards of each store are as per the Brand VM guidelines. Directs and drives the Area VM teams to ensure excellence in visual displays to achieve commercial goals.

Oversees the floor concept process and lifecycle of the product from adoption to seasonal direction. Creates innovative visual merchandising solutions and achieves appropriate standard for a world class retailer. In addition will manage the workflow and production of the Sr Area VMs. Provide visually-stunning work that unlocks the potential of space, product and identity and will be expected to develop various conceptual projects as well as oversee the production of construction detail packages whilst keeping to deadlines and cost imperatives. Produce accurate and calculated specification details for the retail environment or any other physical space or materials (showrooms, concessions, pop-up store, POS, windows, events etc.).
  • Lead the implementation of the visual strategy across all AK points of sale, domestic and international
  • Responsibility towards achievement of AK sales goals through the development and consistent implementation of distinctive brand campaigns, through visual merchandising.
  • Oversee the production and construction of in-store visual merchandising guidelines, graphic packages and display materials for all retail spaces for AK and its third-party partners to agreed campaign calendars, timelines.
  • Manage the design, development and rollout of the shop-in-shop and branded spaces in third-party locations, pop-up stores, events, company flagship and franchise locations using the brand’s retail concept.
  • Development of window concepts for retail and wholesale channels from large-scale campaign windows to toolkits for local implementation
  • Review effectiveness of existing concept and actively provide recommendations to improve it.
  • Work as a key part of the marketing team in translating brand communications into window concepts.
  • Coach implementation alongside the Retail Manager, In-Store Visual Merchandiser, Store Management and teams
  •  Liaise with suppliers for visual merchandising installations in terms of setting clear directives, negotiating favorable rates, ensuring smooth installations at store level and following the payment of supplier invoices while managing budgets.
  • Support and execute the Visual Merchandising of Head Office, stores showrooms and ad hoc projects including press events, launch parties and any other requirements.
  • Provides graphic design support to the Senior Creative on:  Marketing, wholesale and retail Invitations, online and print Marketing print material: inserts, flyers etc. Packaging initiatives. Research for approved features imagery. Research for still life imagery Ad hoc requests: logo design, store guides etc.
  • Working closely with brand concept manager, marketing manager, operations managers and brand team to ensure that the highest standards of visual merchandising are implemented
  • Coaches and develops the Visual Merchandise team to optimize visual excellence and develops a passion and enthusiasm around brand integrity.
  • Maintains an awareness of the latest trends in fashion and retailing to ensure innovative and brand appropriate
  • Ensure that all relevant competitor activity and information is passed to Head Office.
